One can consult the raw data. Unemployment data, crime data...it's there if you want to go look for it. You can always find a sad story, but we're talking population statistics. Overall, crime is down over my lifetime. The economy is doing far better than it was 4 years ago, though one must mention COVID as part of the reason it all went south. And border crossings are actually down recently (again, there was a surge after COVID, but it is going down now).

I don't do right or left wing. I do accurate. High reliability is what I look for. Most of those are middle-of-the-road. But a few left and right sources are also reliable. Just not the ones you seem to favor.**


**It also depends on what it is. FOX is rubbish, but FOX Business is actually pretty good. When it comes to money, I guess people are less tolerant of lying.
