So what if there's a toll.
The money could do to a myriad of things:
1.)Regime does things for the Iranian people --- (good, family oriented studious people---)_---- that is ok by me.
2.)Regime uses it to attack an entity that has, at one time in human history or the other, attracted the ire of peoples from every corner of the earth. And of course -- there's no reason for that it's just a coincidence.
I'm neutral on this one.
3.)Regime uses it on Europe --- or makes Europe a bit more nervous ---and they need to behave a bit nicer.
Rock on --- charge me a surtax.
No lose situation for me.

Do you think we will ever, really, see an honest accounting of the Venezuelan oil revenue, that Trump puts in that offshore account in Qatar?

Yes. Because historically, before Trump ----we got a full accounting of oil revenue and other operations stemming from interventionist foreign policy. Before Trump we were an honest nation.
PS: Yes we will eventually see where he parked the money only because he's sloppy. The others do it via libraries, and think tanks. They are the ones---- who helped America's middle class be the world's envy as they are today.

--- who helped America's middle class be the world's envy as they are today. Not that many years ago, Trump the God Awful, was complaining about how few people immigrate to the US from Norway, vs from third world pest holes.
from the net sifter:
Trust and Favorability: Major surveys show that confidence in the U.S. has dropped significantly across Europe. Polling from the European Council on Foreign Relations indicates that just 11% of Europeans now view the United States as an ally that shares their values, while the rest see it as a necessary partner or rival
Immigration & Emigration: Less than 10% of the total foreign-born population in the U.S. is from Europe. While exact numbers vary year by year, only roughly 60,000 EU citizens typically receive U.S. green cards annually
Current Trend: In recent years, migration between the U.S. and Europe has become more balanced. In nearly all EU member states, the number of Americans relocating to Europe has hit record highs, particularly in countries like Portugal.
Self-Determination: Broad polls like the Bertelsmann Stiftung eupinions survey show that up to 63% of EU citizens prefer the European Union to "go its own way" geopolitically, demonstrating a stronger continental identity rather than a desire to assimilate into American societyYes, Shinyland may look good to you, if you are in Nicaragua or Haiti. Not so much if you are in Denmark. Which is more appealing to you, paying a 50% tax rate, when you see a lot of that money coming back to you in health care, education, and infrastructure, vs paying half that rate, and seeing a lot of it going to enrich the rich?

Before Trump -- America's Middle class was the best in world. best health care access. Best affordable college. best wages.
Soon we'll be back to that.

You think the "JCs" will ever give up any of their tax cuts, to pay for it? Here in Michigan, all the GOP candidates for Gov are talking about is more tax cuts, which, by their nature, will most benefit the "JCs", and no solid plan to compensate for even a nickle of that lost revenue.
