There’s a nice phone report from Becky Quick on CNBC: she spoke with WEB who (she reports) was explicit he had made *no* public comments and would be making none prior to the annual meeting in four weeks.

The CNBC announcer set the context that apparently there was a pseudonymous post on X of a false *video* of WEB extolling the wisdom of tariffs.

Orange then reposted on Truth Social.

ok fanboys, given warren's admiration for character, his wealth, and his age, why is he not attempting to legally and financially cripple any and all sources tied to this? is he a coward? does he really care about the country?

i fully acknowledge his unmatched charity effort, but he clearly has the bandwidth to also send an unambiguous lesson.
