Only the Faculty Lounge Links-ters would think that bring shutdowns - where essential things CONTINUE.......constitute gutting the economy. God, are the campus student union law quad frat greek butt munches *that* out of it?

Yes.

LOL as someone who is thankful for the DC area funding my early and tax free retirement - *everytime* there was a shutdown, yes- the lemmings watched the news and got worried. And yes, business slowed down.

BUT, all the Fed employees got back-pay for staying home and the profits came rolling in again.

Good ol 401K faculty loungers.

Stick to researching the viscosity of ketchup.
