bighairymike: The president embodies the will of the people and is accountable to the electorate. When the permanent administrative state works to undermine the president, they are effectively usurping the will of the people. The administrative state is eager to embrace, expand and implement the policies of a democrat president in support of the will of the people but also serves to be a "necessary" check on the power of a Republican president whose election apparently is not the legitimate will of the people.
