As the other poster said: "stopped". That's how many folks we prevented from entering the country.

Meanwhile the most recent data I can find says we have over 1/2 million visa overstays.

I live in a border state. What most people around here are clamoring for is not a wall, but reform. Yes, stem the flow of migrants across the border, but also reform how we do visas, and introduce a migrant worker visa. But, as I said before, that appears to be a non-starter for the right-wing. They appear to prefer playing "whack-a-mole".
