If Kaepernick had that kind of percentage he probably could have stayed around too. Sports trumps morals, almost always.

Can you say Trevor Bauer?
2x Cy Young winner, LA Dodgers pitcher, currently 1.50ERA in his first five starts, striking out 14.1 batters per nine innings; he got set up for extortion by a gal who was into rough sex. Nothing illegal, it was consensual all the way around.

Fans on MLB websites are clamoring for him to be rehired, but the LADs and MLB don't want that kind of image on the mound. So it's Japan or Mexico if he wants to play the game.
