In fact, Dementia Don told his lawyer, Alina Habba, that he didn't want to be in court until Wednesday because of the New Hampshire primary and she conveniently said she was exposed to Covid during a visit to her parents, tested negative, but was still feeling symptoms. Judge Kaplan said maybe, maybe not, but he would consider her request.

A juror had also called in sick and though there was no indication it was Covid, said he would take a Covid test in the morning anyway in light of Habba's claim.

After leaving the courtroom Dementia Don Trump made 42 posts about Carroll (and one pushing falsehoods about the House January 6 investigative committee) on Truth Social in the span of 13 minutes.
