onepoorguy: And "CampFire" originally was a retire-early board ("FIRE"). Somewhere along the way it morphed, and people seldom discussed retirement.

Right. Wasn't it "financially independent, retired early" or something? And if by "seldom" you mean "never," that's about right. CampFire was mainly an angrier, more intolerant, far-right version of PA. One of the issues when TMF started closing boards was them leaving CampFire alone, keeping it open, which was bizarre since it was a totally conservative political board.
