When I read these this morning, I thought they were satire. Nope, real amendments:

H.R. 8035 - Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024

Amendment 8: Requires all Members of Congress who vote in favor of this Act to conscript in the Ukrainian Military.

H.R. 8034 - Israel Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024

Amendment 11: Provides funding for the development of space laser technology on the southern border.

And while Greene's proposed amendments are the craziest (she offered several), there are plenty of other stupid amendments offered by others, as well, such as Paul Gosar's amendment prohibiting the use of any funds for Ukraine until 90 days after the President has initiated peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.

And Donald's amendment providing that only 2 percent of funds be made available for Ukraine until a comprehensive strategy that provides the strategic objectives of such funding and how that mission will be accomplished, is submitted to Congress.

These are unserious, time-wasting theatrics.
