Some were tired of paternalistic racism of being thought of as "people of color" and "African American Male".
Some were (right or wrong) hoping for beter grocery prices, better pay, cheaper gas.....versus he/him/they/them.
So Trump made inroads twice -- waaaaaaay better than Romney, Amnesty McCain, or HableEspanol Dubya.
But it's being pissed away.
If Democrats would stop "Kimmel~" "Garcia!!!!!" "Pronouns"....some of the hard work is being done FOR them like in this sad example.

Two words "democratic socialism". I recently contrasted the crowd size I saw at Kasich and Romney rallies, with the roaring mob scene at a Bernie Sanders rally. Bernie had the crowd lit up. But Hillary's control of the party machine and the "super delegates", meant Bernie didn't have a chance. Now he's too old.
