As an aside, I'm astonished at how limp the competition is. All those folks haven't just lost a step; they have no game whatsoever anymore.

Sure, but I think there are very few conservatives around here to attract. Who else do we have besides you, me, and Lurkermom? WiltonKnight is an enigma, I don't know what he is and he may not either.

I don't mind mixing it up with libs on the Atheist board, although it gets exasperating at times and I have to take a breather. No minds are being changed but I figure I am doing missionary work to even expose them to other ways of thinking.

Putting them in their place is just something that needs doing. Sadly, they're a symptom of the low-information shrill voter we can expect to see really ramp up in the coming year and a half.
