Interesting debate.
The Mouth of Sauron told lie after lie, and he did it very smoothly. Who knew that Trump saved Obamacare? John McCain is spinning in his grave.
Walz started ok and got more confident as the mostly cordial debate went on.
When called on his Tiananmen Square story, Walz admitted he botched it up.
When the Mouth of Sauron was called on saying that Trump was America’s Hitler, he blamed the media and the Democrats. The guy makes lobsters look like they have a spine.
Walz got stronger talking about abortion bans (which the Mouth of Sauron outright lied about), healthcare, and just knocked it out of the park regarding January 6th. The Mouth of Sauron became the first VP candidate in American history to not know who won the previous election.
The Mouth of Sauron was apparently very confused about the role of the VP. No, they don’t set policies.
I have no doubt the Mouth of Sauron will do anything that Trump tells him to, even if it’s illegal (assuming he can get his head out of Trump’s rectum). This will be a concern for any American who puts country before party.
Oh, and we need stronger windows in schools.

The gun thing is disappointing to me all around.
1.)My side is beholden to the gun lobby.
No not just preserving the Right to Bear Arms.
But how assault rifles. Designed *solely* for mass killing has become not just something they wish to protect but rather, an identity thing no different than the crucifix coupled with the plunging neckline or some gang symbol.
America's culture and traditional family and economic structures are gone and therefore, Americans can NOT be trusted with guns. Yes. I know. This infringes on the innocent too and that I am sorry about. But if you want an assault weapon, please go and ask Harris and Goldman Sachs to send you to war - they have a demand for you they'll say yes.
2.)No airport style security in schools. OK, in certain Democrat Cities, *certain* demographics that White Liberals sabotaged decades ago with poisoned culture submit to some form of security and funny - the mass shootings don't happen in their schools.
I wish every school including my kid's school had limited entrances and metal detectors a la airport. The bloody Yoga Moms love spouting on their social media about "Comprehensive Gun Reforms" - well Mrs Hyphented-whatever that's not gonna happen right now. And guess what? Doesn't the airport security thing usually seem to work out?
Again, America's culture and family and economic structures are compromised. They can't be trusted. So it's quite ok to show up 20 minutes early and got thru security. If you dummies can be hours early for swimming and sports, then death prevention should ne worth extra time also.

In summary, Walz was super nervous like a real human and Vance was smooth and polished, like a gold-plated turd. But I thought Vance still came off well and even "presidential", much more so than Trump.
Walz STILL did a remarkably obtuse job of explaining his Tiananmen Square "misspeak". After explaining a bit of his long history with trips to China, he eventually got around to saying that he "doesn't do times well", but his extreme reluctance to admin any past errors bothers me. I suppose all politician are like that however.
And, sadly, Walz says "nucular" like GWB did. <sigh> 😊 But he "did no harm" to Harris and the campaign, which is all he really had to do.
Vance did Trump a solid in sane-washing all the lies and heinous policies. I wonder if maybe Trump feels a little threatened by Vance's poise and eloquence compared to His Orange Highness?

JD Vance was cool, level headed and answered questions with certainly. Vance was prepared, and had facts and logic on his side.
Tampon Tim did poorly because he had to defend the Border Czar’s record on immigration, trade, climate, jobs, etc. Tampon Tim could not defend the Border Czar policies.
