I cannot say I disagree with him. It is said that the stupidest decision an army general can take, is to start a land war in Asia. I think that applies to tariff war as well.

I live in Hong Kong. I can't tell you how much people are talking about this incredibly obtuse and terrible comment. It encapsulates everything ugly American. And from the guy that became famous for writing a book about his hillbilly roots no less. You really can't make this stuff up at this point!
