Since hclv hasn't gotten here yet today, I thought I'd point out that DJT is down about 20% today (as of time of writing).
Meme stocks gonna meme, I guess. Plus, reporting only a million bucks in revenue for the quarter - during a time when lots of people were spending a lot of money to help Trump get elected - really calls into question whether people plan on using this as a vehicle for currying favor with the President.

my view is that a criminal potus, effectively cleared of past crimes by popular vote and future crimes by scotus, backed by senate, would chase MUCH MUCH bigger grift.

It's not the stock price, it's the advertising. Even foreign entities that want to curry favor can purchase advertising. It wouldn't make sense to buy the ads before he is elected. Now, the flood gates will probably open.

Perhaps Trump could somehow eliminate competition from unTruth Social and DJT streaming; perhaps pass all US government news through DJT streaming.
So many ways to grift the office now that the judges he bought granted him immunity.

The point isn't eyeballs. The convict has a vested interest in DJT. So if entities wishing to bribe the POTUS, they just throw money into advertising on DJT. The convict gets his slice, and they get what they want. Not one set of eyeballs needs to go to DJT.
