Yes, culture - is the problem.

They don't have the first idea what you're talking about. But even if they did...they'd say something like "I totes support laws against child predators. Only a child predator wouldn't support this".

That's the standard left wing tactic: the Motte and Bailey. Jon Stewart perfected the political analysis part and now they're working on the legislative means to enact it.

The real reason is clear - use BS pretenses to hide the real reason behind the legislation.
