I think I should clarify, I think AI search is a superior search anyway.
And a local AI based search is superior to one you don't control.
My point is that trying to add ads into text going forward, whether that's google or some guy's blog review with a paid sponsor, that isn't really going to work well in future.
It's not about: "people are just not going to try and figure out how to set it up"
I think it's simply that AI will be increasingly implemented within the OS and browser as a 'thing that's there' the way the brightness setting is just there on your monitor.
Then it's just a question of asking it to adjust what you see.
Suppose I offer you a view of the internet which never mentions any 'TRUMP SAYS ___!' articles. An internet where Trump is simply not mentioned, unless you choose it.
Wouldn't you be tempted?
