The Iran War:
Before - the Strait of Hormuz was open to oil flow, international inspection showed Iran was NOT building a nuclear weapon, soldiers were not being killed and wounded, our M.E. Bases were not being attacked, and oil prices were low.
After the Art of the Schlemiel - the Strait is being chocked to death, oil pipelines are being attacked, nuclear weapon program unknown, soldiers dying and wounded, our bases are being attacked, and oil prices are skyrocketing with no end in sight, our allies are shunning us, we’re engaged in another endless war in the M.E., and China is becoming stronger on the world stage.
Greenland:
Before - We had the perpetually rights to certain bases in Greenland.
After the Art of the Schlemiel - We may (uncertain at this point) have perpetual rights to certain bases in Greenland, we’ve weakened NATO, our allies want nothing to do with the U.S., America is weaker.
Schlemiel: Yiddish term for a clumsy, inept, or foolish person who frequently brings bad luck upon themselves through awkward mistakes. Rhymes with the word ‘Deal’.
