There was a comment on another thread that reminded me about something I wanted to post.

Now that WEB has announced his [partial] departure, I wonder if there are owners of medium sized businesses that he's been in touch with over the years (decades) who have always considered selling their businesses to Berkshire at some point. If so, I further wonder if he might want to close the deals over the next few months/years before he can't do it (or at least be part of doing it) himself anymore.

Maybe we will see an assortment of small to medium size acquisitions coming?
