'An anti-immigrant stance has been part of the zeitgeist of southern border states, and the portrait they paint is colored by this. The Cato think tank does thorough objective reserch before they issue a report. I'll take that any day as my source for facts I know I can trust.'

Perhaps because the southern border states are taking the blunt of the influx of migrants and think to themselves, 'enough is enough'.

I'm talking about wayyyy before this got started. I'm talking about a perspective on life in general, not a reaction to specific unusual circumstances. But I'm just preaching to the choir here, sadly.
