Just curious...how many are planning to get the new COVID shot? I suspect it will be very few. Most aren't even aware it is coming out. I wasn't until very recently. I almost never see anyone wearing a mask anymore (including me, most of the time). I will be flying in the relatively near future, and I'll wear one on the plane. Since starting to travel again after the pandemic, I always seem to get something when we travel. And it seems to be related to the flight. If we drive, I don't get anything.
We will be getting our shots on Saturday. We did the flu and RSV last week. 1poorlady wasn't old enough for RSV, but I was. That one sucked. There was actually a line for that one, though.

Like you we've already had both our annual Fluzone shots and the new RSV one.
It seems foolish to take chances with Covid. We're going to take our shots.
I think next year Moderna will be offering a Covid/RSV vaccine.

DW and I got ours within a few days of the announcement. We're in our 70s and will be taking several long-haul flights over the next 4 or 5 months. Yes, we mask on flights, too--including the 8-hour red-eye we completed yesterday. We know several folks who've contracted Covid recently on trips, and it put each of them out of action for at least 2 weeks.
We'll get our flu and RSV shots soon.

I got my COVID, RSV, and flu shots within the past month. Had a strong reaction to the RSV, I think. So, four days after or flight, I get a sore throat. Now seven days after, sore throat is gone, but a have a nagging cough.
I masked for the flight, and the bus to the ship, and am up to date on all shots, and I still get something. Can't seem to win.
So far, haven't run a fever or chills or anything like that. But this cough sucks.

I masked for the flight, and the bus to the ship...
So I infer that you took a cruise? If you didn't mask on the cruise, you prob came down with something then. Maybe just a cold. It's pretty difficult to avoid if you're going to be indoors with lots of people dining and drinking 3X/day (or more).
