If someone appears to be repeatedly personal, lean towards patience as they might not mean offense. If you are sure, however, then do not deepen the problem by being negative; instead, simply place them on ignore by clicking the unhappy yellow face to the right of their name.

My idea would be a period of clemency during which the undocumented come out of the shadows and get some sort of mandatory greenish card that allows them to remain here unless and until they commit a felony. After some date, lack of credentials or possession of fake or stolen credentials results in assured detention, followed by swift and sure deportation.

I have to say I'm surprised to hear this come from you given your conservative bonafides. This seems to amount to complete amnesty for those already in the country (absent bad behavior). This would seem to be a political non-starter.

I'm not disagreeing, frankly I have no better suggestion, I'm just surprised.
