I am sure you have been watching the Trump Rally going on right now in DC. But you may have missed this. Trumps was running though his talking points regarding the tens of millions of illegals, most of then not vetted, that Biden let in over the past four years.... then he transitioned into migrant crime, citing a few horrific cases that had been in the headlines... and he concluded by saying that 52% of these illegal immigrants had committed more than one murder.
If you had been watching and following along you know he was talking about the gangs, MS-13, the cartels, Tren de Aquarium, etc were coming in, embedded among the rest, and that 52% of these vicious gang members had committed more than one murder.
But the way he phrased it, it came across as 52% of all ten or twenty million of them. It will be fun and instructive, how much context is included when the MSM explodes this into the daily news cycle.

There were 17,048 arrest of criminal non-citizens by border patrol in 2024.
Of those there were 29 convictions of criminal convictions for murder (Link below). Using 52% of gang members, I get there are 56 gang members in the USA. What an incredible job Biden did, deporting all those gang members and getting it down to 56. GO BIDEN! Happy Retirement!
Now he could've been talking about murders they did in their home country too, but to get that figure, we'd have to know who they are well enough to get the info from their home country. I don't think we know that because we'd arrest and deport them. But if there are so many illegal immigrant gang members, why so little in the way of murders? We get the BEST criminal non-citizens? That's the ticket, only the BEST! :)

Not surprising. That's how it usually comes across, and I'm guessing that that is how a majority of MAGA hears it. Donald Trump is the master of the subtext and the equivocal.
Similar to how he repeated the phrase "You've got to fight or you won't have a country anymore", just after Rudy talked about "trial by combat".... and then slipping in the "We're going to do it peacefully" that few heard and nobody believed.
He's very good at encouraging violence, while slipping in the disclaimer in small print.
One thing you've never heard him tell his followers when they're working up a good head of hate: "STOP!"

I recall during the campaign, some sort of "Nerds for Kamala" group was door knocking in Philadelphia neighborhoods during some important playoff game.

Perhaps you are trying to be funny, but you are not successful at that. There is nothing funny about the lies spread by Fox and other right wing media over the last decade. They are quite literally tearing our country apart for their own financial benefit.

You know the answer: of course not. The media will look high and low to find a crying mom whose son was being deported. Now, never mind that the dude has 50 DUI’s or 3 felony warrants, the media will run with the crying mother.
