all the meta-analysis is not needed.
make zero assumptions about trump's interest and ability to comprehend any policy decisions, much less take a sustaining stance.
(see most recently bitcoin, and prior endless flipflops)

that simply leaves his core transactional nature for the benefit family & friends, always framed as country first.
(not just susceptible, but openly welcoming personal grift and ingratiation)

who will be surrounding trump? he will be triple-chin deep within the ilk of project 2025 supporters, all of them knowing whatever trump wants will be an incredibly small price for control of POTUS. no 'team of rivals' will be allowed within miles even if they wanted to play the same game.
