I also read a short article in the NYT a few days ago. Hezbollah has been using fiber optic drones so Israel is unable to jam them with radio waves. Hezbollah has killed 10 IDF personnel since April using the drones. Israel reached out to Ukraine for help. Ukraine said they might be able to help, but they could use some defensive help from Israel.

Ok, they really ARE connected to the operator with a fiber optic cable, yet somehow still have decent range. Incredibly thin fiber they must use!
