That's the problem with people of faith, like Johnson (and many on the right). They don't need evidence or facts to believe something. Even with facts contradicting their position, they still believe it.

In my youth, when all the tough questions about my religion were answered with "you just have to have faith", I started to realize a lot of it was just bullshit.

Trump cultists just have to have faith. No other way to sustain their belief in their Orange Jesus.
