Maybe some. But we still have people walking around in white robes, some carrying Nazi flags, etc. There will always be some. As you say, "free and open society". We have to put up with the bad to get the good. Though the people with the Nazi flags, white robes, ISIS flags, and such, probably end up on FBI watch lists. I'm sure the ISIS flag-wavers just did. /i>
There’s no “but both sides…” here, sorry. You haven’t seen mass klan marches since the 1920s. White nationalism IS NOT a thing sweeping college campuses (yes, yes, one of your fellow travelers will be along shortly with some bogus links proclaiming otherwise).
The hard core left has 100% control over the culture and the rotten campus politics you see today are directly downstream of it.
