I thought he was a shoe-in for the Rep nomination, and a serious threat to Biden. Now I'm not so sure.

Trump is a masterful con artist. He knows how to pander with lies and maintain deniability. He's absolutely amoral.

DeSantis is trying to go toe to toe with a true sociopath and he just doesn't the mental acuity and speed to riff word salad; the ability to razzzle dazzzle a gullible audience that Trump has.
