To put it into context, the Pentagon spends about $50 billion per year on health care. According to data obtained by USA Today in 2019, the Pentagon spent almost $8 million to treat 1,525 transgender troops between 2016 and 2019.

In short, .00016%.

Or a rounding error.

So no, Tuberville is not making a point, he's grandstanding.

He's trying to get his face on camera.

He's trying to get attention as a freshman senator.

He's a transphobic misogynist.

And he's harming military readiness. - CO

Yep, it is really insignificant. So why doesn't the military just give up funding abortion flights and be done with it. In the name of military preparedness of course.
