I was raised nominally Xian. We didn't go to church, but it was just assumed there was a god and Jesus and all that. I met a kid whose family was very religious (Baptist, I think...I was only about 11, and didn't really know the denominations). They took me to Sunday School. Even at 11 I knew enough to ask the question "how did they fit all the animals on a small boat". Later on, I learned that you couldn't even fit two of every species of beetle on the boat. Just beetles.

And there must have been beetles, because we have beetles.
