The convict is still a convict. Judge has upheld the conviction. Sentencing is scheduled for Jan 10. I assume sentence to be carried out in Jan of 2029, assuming he lives that long.**

I’m assuming in the sentence will be “no jail time”, extended probation, and probably a large fine.

My preference, of course, would be to rearrange the adjectives, so there would be “extended jail time”, “large” probation, and “no” fine. Although a large fine would be OK, too. He could get Elon to pay it in return for not throwing a tantrum the next time Elon gets another headline instead of him.
