The week's question
In December 2024, in the thread "Re: BRK: Why Not XOM?", BreckHutHigh asked the members: "What about the long road trips with kids?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

Oh wait, that's Moms for Liberty.

No, no, that's Moms for Hitler.

Well, lessee...

Negative reaction to a local Indiana chapter of Moms for Liberty's uncritical use of an Adolf Hitler quote printed on the front of their newsletter prompted one speaker at a breakout session to tell attendees to 'never apologize.'

At the Moms for Liberty summit's general session, co-founder Tiffany Justice said, 'One of our moms in a newsletter quotes Hitler" and someone in the audience whooped in delight and others started murmuring their consent at the mention of the Hitler quote.

"I stand with that mom,' Justice then declared.

The crowd cheered.

Moms for Liberty cheered Hitler.

Big name speakers -- Trump, DeSantis, Nikki Hale -- shared the same stage as other presenters who declared that those running schools ('teacher unions, those that are indoctrinating our kids') want to 'undermine our republic and our way of government' and claimed that schools are intentionally withholding information from kids about their constitutional rights. And that 'Marxists or globalists' who run our public schools are out to 'replace parents,' groom children by creating an inappropriate 'trust bond,' gather every child's data to manipulate them, and ultimately pursue 'world domination.'

Oh, and Bill Gates is intent on microchipping students -- already underway in experiments in China -- to provide the government with complete information about children in America.

There were buckets full of crazy being wheeled out onto the stages but I have to admit, I never thought I'd hear conservative republican women cheering Hitler but here we are.
