1.)They are secretly mad that despite winning - we own them on so many issues from fracking to drilling to private health insurance to death penalty and even to some extent, gun rights. Also, too many people still love America - something Sheeples can't stand.


2.)Yes they have so much - but they want it ALL. TOTALITARIANS want it all.

Right down to controlling how we think. What we think.

Yup, all those and one more: They HAVE to feel good about themselves. That's the major emotional stimulus a liberal really wants out of life - a quick dopamine hit that tells them You belong. It's safe here. You're a good person. The others are bad, but you're not one of them.

Them chasing their dopamine hit manifests itself in all kinds of ways. On this board you see the lib dogpiles and the Statler & Waldorf comments from the sidelines. They're attacking the 'bad' people and getting high-fives in return. That's some heady stuff, right there. Nothing says "I'm in a community of good people" more than shouting alongside your homies in unison.

Then you have the coffeehouse and yard sign set. These are the folks that have the In This House We Believe signs out front with the BLM placard in the window, loudly proclaiming their virtue to their neighbors. They're good and upright folks and they imagine that everyone driving or walking by can see it, too!

When you introduce people like us who come along and upset this balance, hoo boy do they lash out. The more under stress you put them, the tighter they retreat into their thought bubbles and the more strident the responses get. Look at our test subjects here - on this board there are literally zero translatable-to-real-life stakes and yet they're willing to act like the Fate Of The World is at stake.

Fascinating, these libs.
