The week's question

In March 2025, in the thread "Re: OT, out", Umm asked the members: "Do you think it is because America is made up of magical soil that makes businesses based in America magically profitable?" This week it is put to everyone again. The button below opens the small thread re-asking it - read what others have said so far, then give your own answer as an ordinary reply.

So we’ve all seen the epic fuckup in the Washington hearings, where Republicans tried to get Jack Smith in a perjury trap which ended with Senator Schmidt from Missouri accusing him of lying and meeting with Fani Willis in Atlanta, when he was actually in Maryland at a completely different basketball game.

I just thought it would be interesting to see how Fox News covered it the next day given that it was on every other major news outlet: CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNOW, the New York Times, AP, BBC, NewsNation, and others. Here’s the count:

Fox & Fiends First: 0

Why, if you were watching that channel for your news, it’s almost like it didn’t really happen!
