Trump absoltely should not be viewed by the State of New York as a typical "first time offender" even if technically true from a criminal standpoint. It would be hard to identify any other single New York State resident who has consumed and squandered more of the people's resources in the law enforcement community and civil / criminal courts than Donald Trump over the past 15 years.

Damn Right.

Trump should be punished for defending himself. He is so guilty that to plead innocence is an additional crime of perjury.
