Interesting article about Brazil telling Trump to get lost.

Brazil has sentenced Bolsonaro to 27 years in prison for plotting a failed plot to stay in power after losing a free and fair election.

It seems Brazil values democracy more than America does.

Trump, in as interesting a tell as there is, is trying punish Brazil for defending their democracy with outlandish tariffs and other punishments. I guess Brazil’s actions hit a little too close to home for Trump.

Of course, implementing high tariffs on a country like Brazil is completely stupid. The US has had a trade surplus with Brazil every year from 2007 through 2024. The 2024 surplus was $29.34 billion, an increase from 2023's surplus of $22.7 billion.

So what is Brazil’s reaction? To decrease trade with the U.S. and reach new trade deals with one of our adversaries, China. For just one item, coffee, prices have jumped over 20% from last year.

Trump is uniting the world against the United States. And Republicans are in full support of this.

Everything Trump touches dies. And it only gets worse as his dementia grows.

I hope the US's slide into a fascist oligarchy wakes other democracies up to what is possible when human rights are secondary to corporate rights.

I agree, Trump and the USA should have nothing to say on Brazil. It's just more teenager twitter syndrome on his part, AND a way to distract you people....he's good at both.


But then again, America doesn't have the authority nor duty to meddle in things like Russia and Ukraine either.

Or if Putin's opposition leader rots in jail.....again, none of our business.

If we want to diddle around with other countries that's fine, but then we have to buy lots of "we support the troops" bullshit ribbons, and, be ok with the airplanes hitting towere every once in awhile.

Because- it would be deserved.

Like Reverend Wright and Sheeple have told us.

*And besides --- countries that are tribal cant unite at water's edge therefore their foreign adventures will be defeats most of the time.
