Auto workers know which party looks out for them, and it ain't the Republicans.
Also, it's the Democrats who keep trying to raise the Federal minimum wage, and the Republicans who keep trying to shut it down.
Democrats are the best party for the working and middle class.

I'd add that the democrats are also the best party for the economy in general, for the stock market, and yes, even for controlling the debt. Oh, and lest we forget, the democrats are also the best party for expanding human rights and personal Freedom.
