I light of Charlie Kirk’s memorial service, may I suggest a day of silence on Sunday. This is in no way an endorsement of Kirk’s hateful rhetoric, but to demonstrate that we can honor the pain that those close to Kirk are feeling in his cold blooded murder.
In spite of his hate for others, he was still a flesh and blood human who did not deserve to die in such a fashion.
Instead of writing here, take the time to think about those you love, those close to you who are important in your life. Write to them instead. Or talk to them. Be thankful for their presence in your life.

Umm, I have stage 4 cancer. I wrote to my family last night to update them on the current results of my treatment and tell them I love them. I have no intention of talking about Charlie Kirk today but also have no intention of ignoring the other issues of the day.

To me, he was a victim of one of his talking points. He said (paraphrasing) that some lives had to be sacrificed to preserve the 2nd Amendment. I'm sure he didn't plan his being one of them. But it was. If he wasn't a hypocrite, he should be "OK" with it (were he somewhere that he can be aware of anything).
It was a needless, and pointless, death that shouldn't have happened. I hope they got the right perp, and he spends the rest of his life in prison. I don't condone what happened in the slightest.
If someone running for office says what I said about Kirk and the 2nd Amendment, they should probably lose. It's politically naive to say that. I'm not running for anything.
IMO, you should be looking to what public figures are saying. Newsome, O'Rourke (is he completely retired now?), Buttigieg, or any others I haven't heard of or can't think of. What are they saying, and are they sabotaging any future run for POTUS? None of our board members -to my knowledge- matter in the slightest in that regard.

Charlie Kirk was a terrible man, spreading lies and hate for personal profit, all while hiding behind the first amendment rights that he would gladly deny to others.
His family and friends should be able to grieve his death because he was still a human being and should be given the basic respect any person should have in death.
But that bit of respect does not change the awful things he did in life, nor should we completely ignore them simply because of his passing.
