“Truckers refusing to Deliver to NY after Engeron's Ruling
I've been on the radio for over an hour and I've talked to at least (10) Truckers who are gonna start refusing loads of Monday for (NYC) ...I talked to (3) guys that I work with who texted the boss and told him no (NYC)”
“Truckers are (95%) Trump... it'll get overturned on appeal but you know how @$##^ hard it is to get one of these mfrs into (NYC) cut the bulls&&&
I'll cya down the road”
https://twitter.com/Chicago1Ray/status/17586741054...Looks like MAGA has had enough of the liberal TDS. Maybe this will snowball into other areas.

Wow, 13 truckers. They're gonna' bring New York City to its knees.
LurkerMom: “Truckers are (95%) Trump...
Umm, the Teamsters endorsed Joe Biden in 2020. Trump described his chances of getting their endorsement in 2024 this way: “stranger things have happened”.
But, sure, keep on living in the Trump Cult where facts aren't facts and where an invitation for Russia to invade a European ally is just the kind of blunt talk those Euros need to hear.

I suppose that is because 95% of statistics are made up on the spot:-)

Can Asylees with work permits drive trucks? Are the truckers going to glue their hands to the tires and declare a manifesto? I think they should donate a month's pay to help Trump with his legal bills and fines. It's the least they could do.

One trucker talking to 13 truckers, apparently you have no idea of the communication truckers have between one another....and I am not talking about CB’s.

Do you or have you ever belong to a Union?
Because the Union bosses voted for Biden in 2020 (for perks) doesn’t mean they will vote for him 2024.
After the most horrible four years under OldJoe, who do you think the rank and file union members will vote for? Not OldJoe.

Just one guy's opinion, but this union guy (UAW) thinks the working class mostly will go to Biden.
https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/working-class...But I don't think the Dems have the working class vote locked-up like they used to. On the other hand, Trump isn't a normal Republican. He's MAGA. That's a turn-off for a LOT of people, especially the independents (who decide most elections).

There won’t be much love for asylum seekers taking on a truckers job. They will be treated same as scabs.
Mock all you want, it sounded kinda stupid. Made me laugh.

In fact, two: UFCW and USW.

Yeah, terrible years. Over 14 million jobs created, including about 800,000 manufacturing jobs. A record stretch of unemployment under 4.0%, and GDP growth numbers that Trump promised but never achieved. Republicans are lining up to take credit for new roads, bridges, and broadband in their communities that they voted against.
Biden even got a bi-partisan border deal that the Border Patrol Union endorsed and republicans killed for Orange Jesus without even looking at it.
And wasn't it president Biden who walked on the union picket line while Trump paid a non-union plant to pretend to have union workers?
Now if Biden could get oil companies and food companies to stop price gouging and bring down the price of gasoline and food on store shelves, Biden would win in a cake walk over a hate-filled, Hitler-quoting, top secret documents stealing, insurrection inciting, fake electoral vote peddling, defaming and defrauding incoherent rapist.
But to paraphrase my father: you can't fix cult stupid.

If I were driving message strategy for the Democratic Party today, I would immediately begin scheduling town halls in high school gyms across New York, New Jersey, Florida and anywhere else Trump has done business since the 1970s. I'd run a direct mail compaign to every small business or trade shop in the local phone book inviting them to come out for a town hall. Pull out the bleachers and ask the small business owners and local carpenters, plumbers, painters, roofers, etc. who have been screwed by Donald Trump over the decades to tell their stories. Frame a shot of packed bleachers, randomly pick someone out of the crowd, put up a mic for them to speak and ask them, "So tell me how Trump's strategy of stiffing contracts and suing them ruined your business and your life."
Do this multiple times in multiple cities, caption the video with the town, the town hall date, the date of the original gig, the names of the people speaking up and run these clips as ads continously in every swing state from now until November.
Trump is NOT in your corner as a small business owner or someone who actually WORKS every day. Never has been. Never will be.
This message should obviously click with actual small business owners and trades persons but would also click with white collar techs and professionals who are increasingly familiar with the mechanics of a "gig economy" and the dangers it imposes when those hiring the gig strategically skip out on paying.
WTH

LOL! only because workers returning to work after covid and their freebies dried up.
What’s Trump got to do with anything now? OldJoe is the president.
And wasn't it president Biden who walked on the union picket line while Trump paid a non-union plant to pretend to have union workers?
Don’t know what OldJoe did but Trump was in support of blue-collar Americans regardless it was a union shop or not, wanting to protect jobs.

Well my goodness commonone, you’re blaming someone else beside Trump. One gold star for you.
One reason for the hikes are due to supply issues and climate change,(ahem, stole that from libs) rather than corporate greed. Also drought has reduced pasture for raising cows, leading to smaller cattle herds, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. And orange production has been impacted by severe weather events and the citrus greening disease, which doesn't have a cure. In Florida orange groves etc. are turning into subdivisions etc due to the rising population.
But to paraphrase my father: you can't fix cult stupid.
Oh dear, then there is no hope for OldJoe.
