"AI systems can and will exhibit the exact same failure mode. Any AI model attempting to process more inputs than a human can MAY synthesize additional "knowledge" to feed back into its "decisions" but such intelligence may still reflect the blind spots of the first humans who influenced its zero-generation incarnation and will still likely result in failures."

And, yes, programmers, executives, "creators," for private profit, greed, hubris, without wisdom, will encode their delusions of grandeur into learning machines.

Can investors, politicians and corporations -- humans --- filter for those pitfalls and avoid them? Will they?
