The economy was a lot better off back then.

Not so, this is an empty claim. The economy is better now with lower unemployment. These are facts.

Oh...I missed this one. Someone seriously claiming that the economy was better (let's say) six years ago than now? The only significant metric that is worse is inflation, currently at about 3.3%. U6 unemployment after a spike in mid-2020 (while Trump was in office, but it was the onset of COVID) has returned to pre-COVID levels. Etc.

Somebody needs to stop watching Hannity.
