Check out the 'reviews' on IMDB for Eddington, a new movie about a small town (fictional, I presume) in New Mexico that is torn apart by covid and the response to it. Seems like it should be interesting.
But it rates out at 5.8 out of 10 because there are a shitload of 1 star reviews, that counterbalance even more 10 star reviews. Obviously people are voting based on their politics and views of the pandemic and the govt. response. No written reviews because...few could have seen it already, just a lot of 'votes'.
Here's the thing: the movie release date is July 18, 2025. I seriously doubt that 327 people have somehow already seen the film.
