I'm on record saying I won't vote this year and I meant it. But unlike Club 401K - I can give a judgement on political performance REGARDLESS of my preference.

I've also loudly lambasted JD as the VP pick and I still stand by that even if Trump wins.

However tonight I will say:

*Both men did it with dignity and class.

*JD Vance was the slight winner of the debate. If not for abortion - he would really have crushed it but the Right still likes Taliban.

*Kamala Harris - whom I've never liked, and warned about on TMF circa 2014-ish on TMF..... and have ZERO respect for politically speaking..........would've slapped BOTH men at this debate with her eyes closed. She's a good debater, very good.

A good night for Vance. Other notes:

While moderators did try to prompt Walz a few times, I felt they weren't as bad as the Trump/Harris debate, and it was hardly a Candy Crowley level of offense.

And the most important part: Nora O'Donnell still looks tasty. I haven't watched news for so many years now but she was yummy back then and still is quite the dish today. Back when I mattered in the Northern Virginia area I saw her sort of up close at the Kennedy Center. Yeah, she's hot. But back then I was in my early 30's. Now I'm 49. Now I don;'t want to really do much with her - I'm happy just looking. Oh God age is setting in.
