He's already admitted that this run could cost him his congressional seat. He's still doing it. If he goes seriously negative, he'll nuke his entire career (short though it has been...he first ran in 2018).

He pretty much has no chance unless Biden has a stroke or something. But if he remains positive, I have no problem with him offering an alternative. He has said he will not run as a third party candidate, which is good.
