How come Europe hasn't announced that they (their multiple countries - not just one like America).....that they're MULTIPLE countries have decided they will make up 100% of any American weaponry and money for Ukraine????? Is Europe kissing Putin's butt?

Maybe they can spend less on railroads and busses and health care.

Who knows? Then maybe our HMO's can help them with their health systems huh?

The Democrats — and too many Republicans — taught Zelensky that he was in charge. They caved to him constantly because the last thing they wanted was for our own media, who fawn and worship the ground Zelensky walks on, to turn on them. That would result in massive blowback from Democrat supporters, including their donors.

Zelensky was taught that all he had to do to get paid was smile for the cameras and get glad-handed by politicians and celebrities, all of whom wanted to be seen backing the guy fighting the "good fight." Democrats had just as much to gain out of kissing Zelensky's backside as Zelensky had, bending over to receive their lips.

Again, this should have never been an expectation of Zelensky's, but Democrats don't know how to negotiate like they should. Unlike Trump, who negotiates from a fixed position with a clear goal in mind, Democrats attempt to take the "diplomatic" route of trying to meet the person they're negotiating with halfway. It sounds nice on paper, but on the world stage it's foolishly weak. It makes them too pliable, and too often Democrats get taken for a ride.

100%, this. Obama would fall into this trap over and over again with the Iranians. The libs do this with the Palestinians. On and on. They just suck at this.

They are too enlightened (SandyLeelee used to lecture that) to spend all that on defense, only our idiot country and REAGAN would do that.

While America has been Europe's whore, they've been building fraastructure, having public health systems, cushy pensions.

I ask the Liberals: Why is Macron a Putin Agent? Why is Germany France and UK on Putin's payroll? This is THEIR backyard? Why haven't they announced their on "European Union" force - that is as good as NATO is now and that they don't need bully arrogant fat cowboy hamburger eating America, and that Zelensky is ready to really stick it to Putin now?
