Why the "apple of Putins eye"?
Why the guy who stole from a children's cancer charity?
Why the illiterate, crazy rapist who tried to overthrow the government?

They like the nastiness, racism, fear and hatred. And the right wing media ensures that they are fed a steady stream of lies to keep them fired up and befuddled. And it is such an easy money maker for RW media. Prey on the easy marks.

And I really think a lot of people yearn for fascism or some form of authoritarianism because democracy is messy.
