PS: Dope, Lurker - remember how I used to UNpopularly say on TMF - punish Liberals, with Liberalism? This is perhaps the best example.

I'm not lecturing - but just asking - just imagine: OUR side telling the Woke Corporations to have a $20.00 minimum wage. An excise tax on advanced college degreed people's earnings, with money to go to retraining for blue collar workers. Full unionization of Google, Apple, and all of Silicon Valley. Making American Wage and Labor Standards the law for all corporations wishing to manufacture abroad, and export into the USA.

Schumer and the rest of the 401K Wall Street Liberals would be BEGGING us to stop.

Busing migrants to NYC and various other blue virtue-signaling areas was a stroke of genius. Like with all issues, these guys loved it when illegal immigration was some red stater's problem down on the border. They were free to shout from the rooftops how Tolerant And Awesome they all were.

Well that all changed the day DeSantis, Kemp and Abbot started shipping these folks up to NYC and Chicago. HAHAHAHAAHHA. Now Adams and Hochul are sniping at one another and even Jake Freaking Tapper had to grudgingly admit that Abbot was right when he said that blue city attitudes would change the SECOND those idiots had to address even a fraction of the problem.

I'm all for the things you put in the last paragraph. If these El Woke-o companies want to work with the democrats and abuse their economic power by forcing their views on others, well then: it's game on.

I'd go you one further: I'd add a microtransaction tax for every stock and bond trade that is made where the asset has been held for fewer than say, 10 days. That way these ESG-fascist outfits like Black Rock who are using their power to bully the companies they own shares with can pay and pay hard.
