In lieu of Albaby not weighing in yet, let me play the Trump Whisperer:
Trump: “And again, remember. With the war, it’s just artificial. It’s a little bit high. It’s a small price to pay. for keeping the world safe. For keeping our country safe. They could take out a city. Let ’em take— let it— let ’em take out Los Angeles. Let ’em take our San Diego. That’s— this is a very small price to pay.”
He's talking about whether higher gas prices are worth our war with Iran. He thinks they are because otherwise Iran could take out one of our cities. "How would you like it", he says, "if Iran took out Los Angeles or San Diego? I bet you wouldn't like that at all. So, be happy to only be paying a little bit more for gasoline for a little while longer. The alternative is a nuclear attack from Iran."
Of course, there was zero evidence that Iran was anywhere near close to having the capability to lob a nuclear missile at a U.S. city, but this is Trump's argument. As usual, he effed up the statement of it, perhaps inartfully, perhaps in a deliberate attempt to troll the libs, but there it is.
