Yeah it's pretty much well accepted by the people who study Cluster B personality disorders that one of the most insidious forms of narcissistic personality disorder is "communal narcissism."

These are the folks like are very own ProGlibs who are very performative about claiming to care about society, the other, social causes, and so forth, and this is how they get their narcissistic supply and prop up their grandiose false self. That's why they're so insufferable and seem to be clueless, because they actually lack any true emotional empathy. The do have "cognitive empathy" which is an intellectual understanding of what empathy is, but they don't actually know what it feels like. It's all performative again to prop up their overinflated grandiose false self that they present to the world as a defense mechanism against a traumatized inner self which they are unable to connect to due to childhood trauma or negligent parenting or abuse of some kind. It forms in early childhood.

This is why they seem so utterly clueless to us "normies." They have no real empathy for actual individuals such as Sarah the murdered National Guard trooper nor her family. Not even for five seconds.

For them, it's all about proclaiming how morally superior they are to "MAGA" and "Trump", and they get their narcissistic supply from each other and like minded folks in the MSM and on social media.

They believe they are simply superior in every way to everyone else, even the people they claim to care about.

Since they lack real empathy, they are clueless to real emotions. That's why the dum dum who started this thread was unable to reflect on the fact that the "chaos" his political friends caused at the Home Depot actually hurt the people he claims to care about. He doesn't care about them. He doesn't care about any of the people they post about.

All he cares about is signalling his superiority and getting confirmatory social media posts from other communal narcissists to inflate his grandiose false self.
