No. I'm suggesting you ponder why Obama has failed to endorse Kamala.

At this point, it's pretty obvious that it's not because he wants someone else to be the nominee. That ship has sailed. Every plausible alternative has already endorsed her, and she has public commitments from a majority of delegates. No one's going to run against her.

There are a few alternatives. One possibility is the same reason that Sanders hasn't endorsed Kamala yet - that he wants something from her. A policy concession, a personnel choice - something that he wants from her potential Administration that he is going to trade an endorsement for.

A second possibility - and this is the one I favor - is that he recognizes that giving her his endorsement before the convention wouldn't be helping. The GOP is already in a fever dream that Obama secretly controls everything that's going on anyway, so everyone involved would be better off if Harris gets the formal nod without Obama endorsing her.
